Recognized with a Gold Award for “Best Single-Family Detached Home (1,801 to 2,400 square feet) and “Best in the Northeast”, the Edenville is designed within the architectural guidelines of Warwick Grove, the first and only Active Adult Traditional Neighborhood Community in the Northeast. The house looks for its inspiration to the traditions of the nearby Village of Warwick, a classic main street community in the heart of the Hudson Valley. The Edenville represents one of a number of varied options in terms of size and architectural style that are available to homeowners in the 215 residence Warwick Grove neighborhood. It is designed with a compact but airy floor plan. Rooms are clearly defined and separated, but achieve an open feeling and gracious flow. Like all Warwick Grove houses, the Edenville is memorable for classic architectural detailing and upscale building materials. Homes are planned to recognize the desire of the target homeowners to age in place with built-in flexibility for changing physical needs should this be needed in the future. The architect for the Edenville is Donald Powers of Donald Powers Architects in Providence, Rhode Island. The Edenville is one of eight floor plans that can be rendered in six exterior styles, which will result in 35 different variations for single-family homes at Warwick Grove. "In a neighborhood that's being built by a single developer, it's very important to find a way to get that kind of variety," says Powers.
